Since 2002, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been attending Cannes International Film Festival and this year is no exception.
But much to the surprise for the fans, the actress will be accompanied by her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
The celebrity couple Aish-Abhi are the brand ambassador of amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS research).
Every year an event "Cinema Against AIDS" has been held at Cannes and Aishwarya Rai has been attending it. This year Bachchan will accompany Aishwarya to the event.
The B-town couple along with other Hollywood celebs will attend the event on 22 May in Cannes. The event will be held along with the Film Festival at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.
Singer Lana Del Rey, singer-song writer Robin Thicke and musician Aloe Blacc are set to perform during the event.
Last year, the inaugural fundraising gala of amfAR was held in India on 17 November at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The event was attended by Sharon Stone, Aishwarya and Jr. Bachchan.
